We are looking for an enthusiastic Ph.D. student, who is interested in evolutionary biology. The Ph.D. research project will focus on the evolutionary mechanisms of behavioral or ecological adaptation in birds. My research team has applied genomic sequencing combined with behavioral or field experiments to investigate the genetic basis of avian adaptive evolution. Strong candidates will be students with background in evolutionary biology or bioinformatics.

Supervisor: Dr. Chung-Ping Lin
We are seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic PhD students to work on behavioural ecology, aposematism and ecological speciation of insects on Asian continental and oceanic islands. We are interested in the evolutionary history of organisms, and use phylogenies as a framework to understand their diversities, ecology, behavior and the process of diversification. Major animal groups of our current focus are treehoppers, damselflies, stag beetles, flower beetles, weevils and spiders. Students are encouraged to develop their own research projects within the scope of research in our lab (http://web.ntnu.edu.tw/~treehopper )
